Exploration of the Self through Portraiture

Through the creation of self portraits, I am forced to ruminate on my identity as a result of my journey and the context I inhabit. This work investigates the culmination of my identity, my journey through space and time, the finite nature of my life, and what powerful whimsy constitutes the fabric of existence. Each portrait employs new techniques, perspectives, and color palates to investigate the extent of my being.
